Friends,

For those of you who don't know, I'm spending a year in Lviv, Ukraine on a research grant.  Here I am studying child development of orphans in state institutions, and assessing their developmental needs.  Specifically, I am looking at pretend play and emotional regulation interventions, to see their degree of effectiveness in this population.

I want to use this space to track the development of my project, detail life in Ukraine, and assure my mother I'm safe.
